GO Pass: July

Starting Tuesday, July 1 at 10:00 a.m. local time, all Trainers will automatically receive the free GO Pass: July. By collecting GO Points, you can increase your rank and unlock rewards. The GO Pass will be active until Tuesday, August 5 at 10:00 a.m. local time.

During the weekend of Saturday, August 2 through Sunday, August 3, there will be no daily limit on how many GO Points you can earn—making it a great time to rank up quickly!

Looking for even more rewards and faster progress? Consider upgrading to the GO Pass Deluxe, a paid version of the GO Pass that grants access to all rewards from both the free and Deluxe tracks. You can upgrade at any time and still claim rewards from previously unlocked ranks.

Make sure to claim all your rewards before Thursday, August 7 at 10:00 a.m. local time, as they will expire after that.

Complete Pass Tasks to rank up your GO Pass to earn the following rewards:

The Lucky Trinket is back as the final reward in this month’s GO Pass Deluxe!

A Lucky Trinket is a one-time-use item that allows you to turn one friend from your Friend List into a Lucky Friend. When used, both you and the selected friend will become Lucky Friends—even if you're not Best Friends yet!

As Lucky Friends, your next trade will result in both Pokémon becoming Lucky Pokémon. After the trade, the Lucky Friend status will be cleared.

Important: The Lucky Trinket will only remain in your Item Bag for a limited time. The one earned through the GO Pass: July will expire on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. local time, regardless of when you claimed it. Make sure to use it before it disappears!

Usage Notes

• You must be at least Great Friends with the Trainer you wish to use the Lucky Trinket on.
• You cannot use it on a Trainer you are already Lucky Friends with.
• Using a Lucky Trinket does not change trade distance requirements.
• If you do not want others to use a Lucky Trinket on you, you can disable this in your Settings.

The GO Pass Deluxe, the paid version of the GO Pass, is now also available for purchase through the Pokémon GO Web Store! Any GO Pass Deluxe purchased via the Web Store will activate automatically once the GO Pass begins.

As a bonus, Trainers who purchase GO Pass Deluxe: July or GO Pass Deluxe: July + 10 Ranks through the Web Store will receive the following gift with purchase:
