Enjoy a bountiful Harvest Festival with Shiny Applin’s Pokémon GO debut!

From Tuesday, September 29, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, October 5, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time, Trainers can celebrate the Harvest Festival: Applin Picking event. For the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Applin — if you’re lucky! — and Shiny Smoliv will have an increased encounter rate throughout the event.

During the event, Mossy Lure Modules will only attract apples, event-themed Field Research tasks will be available, and a branching Timed Research story lets you choose which apples you’ll receive as a reward. A special GO Pass: Harvest Festival is also available for the duration of the event.

For the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Applin — if you’re lucky!

Evolve Applin into Flapple (200 Applin Candy + 20 Tart Apples), Appletun (200 Applin Candy + 20 Sweet Apples), or Dipplin (200 Applin Candy + 20 Syrupy Apples). Dipplin can then evolve into Hydrapple using 400 Applin Candy and by catching seven Dragon-type Pokémon with Dipplin as your buddy.

Event-themed Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild during the Harvest Festival.

Skwovet, Smoliv, and Lechonk will show up more often — and if you’re lucky, you might even encounter Applin. Any of them could be Shiny!

Tapping on an apple will award Tart Apples, Sweet Apples, or Syrupy Apples — or an encounter with an event-themed Pokémon, such as a flower-crowned Cottonee or Applin.

Complete Pass Tasks to rank up and earn encounters with event-themed Pokémon, Tart Apples, Sweet Apples, or Syrupy Apples, a Mossy Lure Module, a Super Rocket Radar, and more. Trainers who upgrade to the GO Pass Deluxe also earn additional encounters, plus more Apples, Mossy Lure Modules, and Super Rocket Radars.

For US$4.99, upgrade to the GO Pass Deluxe for upgraded rewards and faster progression — or to the GO Pass Deluxe + 6 Ranks for US$6.99 to automatically reach Rank 7. Rewards unlocked in the GO Pass expire on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
