New discovery: PokéXciting! Pikachu (Turquoise)
For the first time ever, Trainers will be able to encounter PokéXciting! Pikachu.
To make this celebration truly unique, the PokéXciting! Pikachu encountered in each region features a different colour of costume inspired by that local region. Don’t miss your chance to catch these exclusive local styles.
Kuala Lumpur gets the tour’s very first one, and it debuts in a vibrant Turquoise.
This city’s variant keeps appearing as a wild encounter for one month after the local event concludes.
Wild Encounters
The following Pokémon appear more frequently in the wild during the event.
Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Raticate, Grimer and Eevee turn up wearing a party hat, Jigglypuff wears a ribbon, and PokéXciting! Pikachu appears in its region-exclusive colours.

Lure Module Encounters
The following Pokémon are attracted to Lure Modules activated during event hours.
Gengar joins the party wearing a party hat. The official line-up ends with “and more”, so this list may not be complete.

Each city has its own pair of Unown letters — Kuala Lumpur gets Unown M and Unown Y.

The Kanto first partners appear in Gigantamax Battles during the event.

Take part in a GO Stamp Rally during the event.
Open Pokémon GO during event hours to join the fun. Explore the event venue and find designated PokéStops to collect stamps nearby.
Cross-region GO Stamp Rally
Kuala Lumpur’s own PokéXciting! Pikachu stamp is one of five spread across the participating PokéXciting! cities in the Asia-Pacific region.
You’ll find it at KLCC Park: In front of Esplanade.
Collecting it awards an encounter with PokéXciting! Pikachu (Turquoise) featuring a local Location Background.

On top of that, KLCC Park hosts its own dedicated stamp rally: five stamps with designs inspired by Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu and Vileplume.
Collect all five to also encounter PokéXciting! Pikachu (Turquoise) with its local Location Background.
This rally stays available for one month after the event date.
Timed Research
There will be two free Timed Research opportunities available.
Complete the tasks to earn rewards, including encounters with PokéXciting! Pikachu, a Premium Battle Pass, an event sticker, and more.
Field Research
Event-themed Field Research will be available — complete Field Research tasks to earn rewards.
Pokémon GO PokéXciting! Booth
The Pokémon GO booth at KLCC Park is where all the action happens.
- Redeem a special Pokémon GO PokéXciting! sticker
- Snap some memorable photos at the PokéXciting! photo setup
- Meet fellow Trainers and take on the GO Stamp Rally together
- Collect at least three of the six stamps across both GO Stamp Rallies to redeem a free photobooth photo
Six stamps in total: five from the regional rally in KLCC Park, plus the cross-region PokéXciting! stamp.
