Max Battles — Dynamax Dialga & Dynamax Palkia Debut

Dynamax Dialga and Dynamax Palkia make their Pokémon GO debuts during GO Wild Area 2026 — both can be Shiny! Dynamax Dialga appears on Saturday, November 14, and Dynamax Palkia appears on Sunday, November 15.

Three-Star Raids

Machamp wearing a modern jacket appears in three-star raids on both event days — and may be Shiny!

This costume is brand new — the sprite isn’t in game data yet, so the tile below shows standard Machamp as a stand-in until Niantic adds it.
Wild Encounters — Solid as Steel Hour

These event-themed Pokémon appear on both event days, in two rotating hours. Solid as Steel Hour runs first (10:00–11:00 a.m., 12:00–1:00 p.m., 2:00–3:00 p.m., 4:00–5:00 p.m.), followed by Daring as Dragons Hour.

Wild Encounters — Daring as Dragons Hour

Daring as Dragons Hour follows Solid as Steel Hour (11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., 1:00–2:00 p.m., 3:00–4:00 p.m., 5:00–6:00 p.m.).

Mighty Pokémon May Appear in the Wild!

Trainers may also find themselves in encounters with unusually powerful opponents known as mighty Pokémon! All mighty Pokémon have some shared traits:

  • More likely to have high Attack, Defense, and HP ratings
  • More likely to be XL or XXL
  • More difficult to capture

Trainers may even encounter Shiny mighty Pokémon, if they’re lucky! Using the event-exclusive GO Safari Ball when trying to capture these Pokémon will greatly improve your chance of success.

The wild mighty Pokémon lineup changes each day.

10 km Eggs

The following Pokémon hatch from 10 km Eggs obtained during the event. Ticket holders have an increased chance of receiving 10 km Eggs from PokéStops and Photo Discs at Gyms.

Incense Encounters — Ticket Holders

Ticket holders can also attract the following Unown on both event days, plus — quick to flee — a chance at mighty Latias and Latios!

Special Research — Steel or Dragon?

Choose a path and become an expert on Steel-type or Dragon-type Pokémon to earn one of two in-game medals.
