GO Wild Area 2026: Mexico City

Dynamax Dialga* and Dynamax Palkia* make their Pokémon GO debuts during Pokémon GO Wild Area: Mexico City — both appear in Max Battles throughout the event.

Machamp wearing a modern jacket appears in three-star raids during event hours — and may be Shiny!

Hisuian Sliggoo and Hisuian Goodra make their Pokémon GO debut at the in-person GO Wild Area events! Ticket-holding Trainers may find Hisuian Sliggoo in the wild during either habitat hour — including its Shiny form.

Use 100 Goomy Candy to evolve Hisuian Sliggoo into Hisuian Goodra.

These event-themed Pokémon appear throughout Mexico City during your ticketed event day, in two rotating hours. Solid as Steel Hour runs first (10:00–11:00 a.m., 12:00–1:00 p.m., 2:00–3:00 p.m., 4:00–5:00 p.m.), followed by Daring as Dragons Hour.

Daring as Dragons Hour follows Solid as Steel Hour (11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., 1:00–2:00 p.m., 3:00–4:00 p.m., 5:00–6:00 p.m.).

Trainers may also find themselves in encounters with unusually powerful opponents known as mighty Pokémon! All mighty Pokémon have some shared traits:

• More likely to have high Attack, Defense, and HP ratings
• More likely to be XL or XXL
• More difficult to capture

Trainers may even encounter Shiny mighty Pokémon, if they’re lucky! Using the event-exclusive GO Safari Ball when trying to capture these Pokémon will greatly improve your chance of success.

These mighty Pokémon can appear during all hours of your ticketed day, regardless of habitat. Look forward to mighty Machamp wearing a modern jacket, Bastiodon, and Kommo-o — plus, ticket-holding Trainers in Mexico City can even encounter mighty Hawlucha!

The following Pokémon hatch from 10 km Eggs obtained during the event. Ticket holders have an increased chance of receiving 10 km Eggs from PokéStops and Gyms.

Ticket holders can attract the following mighty Pokémon from Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) during their ticketed event day — plus the following Unown, and, quick to flee, a chance at mighty Latias and Latios!

A brand-new citywide GO Stamp Rally is available to ticket-holding Trainers on their event day! Visit designated PokéStops around Mexico City to collect stamps — spin the Photo Disc at a participating stop to receive a stamp sheet, then tap and hold to place a stamp (stamps can’t be re-stamped once placed). Collecting stamps earns items and encounters, and your progress is tracked on the Scrapbook page.

The Stamp Rally runs from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time on your main ticketed day — the Extra Day add-on does not grant another one.

Two Timed Research experiences guide you through specially decorated PokéStops across the city on your ticketed day — spin the corresponding stops to progress (they can also help you navigate between Stamp Rally locations). Complete the tasks and claim rewards before 8:00 p.m. local time that day. An Extra Day add-on grants both experiences again on each added day.

All Trainers will have a boosted chance of receiving event-themed Field Research during the event! Complete these tasks to encounter event-themed Pokémon.

Gameplay extends throughout the Mexico City metropolitan area, with in-person activities centered in the city — pop-ups where you can meet other Trainers, themed photo opportunities, and a Community Hub to learn about the Community Ambassador program.
