Several new costumed Pikachu will make their Pokémon GO debuts during the event.
*If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny version of these costumed Pikachu.
Each day of the event features different event-themed Pokémon appearing in the wild, highlighting the first partner Pokémon from the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova regions.
A wide variety of event-themed Pokémon will appear in raids throughout the event, with five-star raid Pokémon also featured in a dedicated Raid Hour from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time on one specific day each.
On Thursday, February 26 and Friday, February 27, raid bosses will rotate every hour during event hours. During Raid Hour, rotations will occur after the first 30 minutes instead of hourly.

Origin Forme Dialga and Origin Forme Palkia caught during this time may know their featured attacks, unlocking powerful Adventure Effects.

Defeating Black Kyurem and White Kyurem in raids will reward Fusion Energy, which can be used to fuse Kyurem into stronger forms with unique Adventure Effects.

During the event, certain Pokémon caught from raids will know special featured attacks on specific days.
During the Road to Kalos event, Trainers who defeat Raid Bosses have a chance to receive new Special Backgrounds after a successful catch.
These Special Backgrounds appear on a Pokémon’s summary page, showing when it was caught and commemorating your journey toward Pokémon GO Tour. Different backgrounds will be available each day of the event.
In addition, fusing a Zekrom or Reshiram with a Special Background together with a Kyurem that has a Special Background of the opposite color will result in Black Kyurem or White Kyurem with its own unique variant background.

The following Pokémon will hatch from 2 km Eggs.
Region-themed Timed Research will be available each day of the event, starting at 5:00 a.m. local time.
By completing these Timed Research tasks, Trainers can earn Candy, TMs, and other items, as well as encounters with different costumed Pikachu.
Please note the following important details:
*If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny Pikachu.
New Field Research tasks themed around each day’s featured region will be available throughout the event.
These Field Research tasks will refresh daily and can be completed to earn useful rewards tied to that day’s Raid Bosses.
*If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny Pokémon. Pokémon obtained from Field Research will not have Special Backgrounds.
From Monday, February 23, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, March 1, at 6:00 p.m. local time, the GO Pass and the GO Pass Deluxe for Road to Kalos will be available in Pokémon GO!
