Mega Pokemon Debuts

The concentration of Mega-Evolved Pokémon at this year’s GO Tour is rising rapidly! Mega Victreebel* and Mega Malamar* will make their Pokémon GO debuts during Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos! All Trainers can take on these two newly discovered Mega-Evolved Pokémon during the epic global event!

During Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos – Global, Trainers can take on Mega Raids with Mega Victreebel on February 28 and Mega Malamar on March 1, 2026!
Shiny Diancie makes its Pokemon GO debut!

For the first time in Pokémon GO, Trainers will be able to encounter Shiny Diancie! Trainers who purchase a ticket for Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos – Global will receive Masterwork Research that leads to an encounter with Shiny Diancie.

*Masterwork Research does not expire, so you can complete it at your own pace!

Looking good, Pikachu!

During Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos – Global, you’ll be able to encounter stylish Pikachu wearing Calem’s hat or Serena’s hat. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one!

All Trainers can look forward to an increased chance of encountering Shiny costumed Pikachu, Shiny Chespin, Shiny Fennekin, and Shiny Froakie in the wild during the event.

Even more Shiny Pokemon debuts? Tres bien!

Shiny Honedge, Shiny Hawlucha, and Shiny Klefki will make their global Pokémon GO debuts during Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos – Global!

Honedge will appear in one-star raids during the event, while Klefki and Hawlucha will hatch from 10 km Eggs. All Trainers will also have an increased chance of hatching Shiny Klefki and Shiny Hawlucha!

Plus, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time each day, Pokémon from all habitats will appear in the wild together!

Wild Encounters: Mountain Manor

Event-themed Pokémon will appear in three unique habitats during the event.

Mountain Manor: 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time


Plus, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time each day, Pokémon from all habitats will appear in the wild together!

Wild Encounters: Coastal Laboratory

Event-themed Pokémon will appear in three unique habitats during the event.

Coastal Laboratory: 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time


Plus, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time each day, Pokémon from all habitats will appear in the wild together!

Incense Encounters

The following Pokémon will be attracted to Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) during the event.

Paid Special Research - Ticket Holder Exclusive

It’s time for a finale of mega proportions! After kicking off the adventure during the real-world Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos events in Tainan and Los Angeles, Trainers around the world can now join in. Through intense battles, exciting encounters, and breakthrough discoveries, can you uncover new ways to understand and master Mega Evolution?

Trainers who attended the Tainan and Los Angeles events can also purchase the global event ticket and receive a different Special Research to complete during Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos – Global.

Paid Timed Research - Ticket Holder Exclusive

A new Timed Research will be available for ticket-holding Trainers, granting encounters with Furfrou, the Poodle Pokémon!

Depending on your location, you can choose a trim and change Furfrou into that form for the rest of the event—an opportunity normally limited to specific regions or special events.

  • Europe / Middle East / Africa: Star, Debutante, La Reine, Kabuki, Pharoah

Note: Timed Research expires. All tasks and rewards must be completed and claimed before Sunday, March 1, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. local time. You can continue changing Furfrou’s trim until 11:59 p.m. the same day.

How to Change Furfrou’s Trim

  1. Open Furfrou’s summary page and tap Change Form.
  2. Select your desired trim.

Changing trims costs 25 Furfrou Candy and 10,000 Stardust.

Get out and explore some Routes!

Flabébé* will appear more frequently on Routes throughout the city during Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos – Global!

  • Red Flower Flabébé: Europe, the Middle East, and Africa
  • Blue Flower Flabébé: Asia-Pacific region
  • Yellow Flower Flabébé: Americas

If you’re lucky, you may also encounter White Flower Flabébé or Orange Flower Flabébé, regardless of your region.

Plus, you can collect Zygarde Cells and encounter Mateo at the end of up to 25 Routes per day!
